New Items Available Online and in Store

August 4, 2020

We are so grateful for our partners and Allies who continue to shine a light on Human Trafficking. As part of our #SeeingYellow campaign taking place all summer, long, we are excited to share some new merchandise that is popping up in our online store and with some of our longstanding and newest Allies.

Paul Hardy, a talented Canadian fashion designer and a longtime ally of #NotInMyCity, has designed a beautiful new #SeeingYellow silk scarf (available in grey and yellow) and silk pocket square that are now available on our online store.

In reference to the rose designs featured on both items, Hardy says, “We often equate yellow roses with friendship, so the yellow rose also represents a community standing in solidarity with the victims. The uncoloured roses represent all of the unheard voices, and the hope of transformation to redemption.”

Those Chocolates Supporting our Cause

Nicole Buckton of Those Chocolates, a Calgary-based chocolatier, and influencer Ania Basak have partnered together to celebrate Ania’s Birthday (creating a limited-edition chocolate flavour called “Birthday Girl”) and are giving back to the community by offering a portion of August sales to our work. Those Chocolates are available in 6 and 12-piece boxes in store at the Mercantile in Avenida Food Hall or online.

Common Grounds Coffee is supporting #NotInMyCIty in August

Common Grounds Coffee is a small batch coffee roastery that uses coffee as a tool to combat and raise awareness for global issues. For the month of August they’ll be featuring #NotInMyCity as their Charity Partner and donating a portion of proceeds from coffee sales to support our work. Half-pound and two-pound bags are available for purchase online.

New Socks from Friday Sock Co. are back in stock

Our very popular collaboration with Friday Sock Co. are now re-stocked with a fresh new colour! This design is available while quantities last at our online shop.
