Another exciting season of #SeeingYellow is underway! This annual campaign spans June, July, and August, offering countless opportunities for individuals and organizations to participate.
During #SeeingYellow, Allies come together to support the vital work of #NotInMyCity in combating human trafficking and sexual exploitation. They do so by proudly wearing and showcasing the colour yellow, organizing fundraisers, and fostering important discussions to raise awareness.
Past years have seen remarkable highlights, such as the Calgary Tower and Telus Spark lighting up in yellow, pop-up merchandise stands throughout the city, impactful golf tournaments to raise funds, the sale of unique #NotInMyCity items, and even Canada Day fireworks featuring the #NotInMyCity cause.
This year #SeeingYellow are grateful for the unwavering support of our Allies including Way Out West Fest at the Deane House, A Not So Silent Summer and the Track & Taste Experience.
We are proud to continue our partnership with Nicole Buckton, the talented chocolatier behind Those Chocolates, based in Calgary, who will be generously donating 20% of all orders this summer to #NotInMyCity in honour of #SeeingYellow.
We are constantly seeking more individuals, businesses, and organizations to become Allies of #SeeingYellow and join us in the fight against human trafficking in Calgary and beyond. For further information or to get involved, please reach out to Rosanna via email at rosanna email*
