#SeeingYellow on the Shortest Night of the Year

June 21, 2019

Last night, as part of our #SeeingYellow campaign, the City of Calgary showed its dedication and support for #NotInMyCity by painting the city yellow. As the sun set on the shortest night of the year, the Calgary Tower and TELUS Spark were aglow in yellow to honour human trafficking victims in our city, province and country. It’s our hope that as we light our city in yellow, we can serve as a powerful beacon of hope for those affected by these crimes and a warning signal to perpetrators as we continue to boldly declare “Not here. Not anywhere. #NotInMyCity.”
