30 Days of Human Trafficking Awareness: Take the First Step with #NotInMyCity

January 23, 2025

Today we’re kicking off 30 days of human trafficking awareness, from key statistics and indicators, to tips on how you can get involved as an Ally and stand up to human trafficking. We encourage you to follow along with our social channels (@NIMCally) to expand your learning and voice your support. Our 30 day campaign will culminate on National Human Trafficking Awareness Day in Canada, February 22, 2025

Stand Up With Us

Our goal is to generate critical awareness about human trafficking, increase education through our free online learning platform, and create new Allies in our mission to prevent and disrupt this heinous crime in Canada.

Airport Partners

Airports across Canada are partnering with #NotInMyCity to participate in the human trafficking awareness campaign leading up to February 22. #NotInMyCity has partnered with 14 airports across Canada to date to increase education and awareness on how to identify potential victims of human trafficking and sexual exploitation, and how to safely take action. Knowing these best practices has already proven to be valuable in leading airport staff to successfully identify and intervene in trafficking situations in the last year.
