New Human Trafficking Awareness Video Launched

We are thrilled to share the launch of our awareness video, “How does human trafficking happen?”, which is now live on our website. The five-minute video was created in collaboration with ICOM Productions, and was possible thanks to generous support from the Calgary Foundation.

Using key statistics and animation, the video highlights the fact that human trafficking is modern day slavery.

It discusses what human trafficking is, how victims are lured, the trauma they face and the risk signs.

By generating awareness about the issue, this video will provide thousands of Canadians the understanding of the scope of the problem, and what they can do to help. It is the first in a series of videos that are helping to advance our goal to disrupt human trafficking and sexual exploitation in Canada.

We are taking a stand against human trafficking, and this video provides clear, practical information that is relevant to anyone, anywhere.

We invite you to watch and share the video.

If you want to learn more about the issue in Canada, you can take our free, 30 minute online course.
